Dr. Wang, a board-certified dermatologist and Mohs surgeon, specializes in treating skin cancer with advanced, scar-minimizing, and noninvasive techniques.
Dr. Wang focuses on the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of melanoma, squamous cell cancer, basal cell cancer and other skin cancers. He deploys advanced imaging technologies, such as Vectra 360 Total Body Photography, along with a full suite of non-invasive and surgical treatments like Mohs surgery to detect and treat at the earliest stages.
Dr. Wang joined Hoag in 2022 after spending 16 years at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, where he served as the Head of Dermatology Section and Director of Dermatologic Surgery and Dermatology. He also served as associate professor at Weill Medical College of Cornell University in New York City during this period.
Dr. Wang is actively involved in clinical research with a focus on melanoma detection, photo protection and application of artificial intelligence in skin cancer detection. He is a prolific researcher, publisher, lecturer and thought leader in the media, quoted by Wall Street Journal, New York Times and Reuters.
